I was hired at BBDO Worldwide to be senior vice president/creative director on Frito-Lay, among other accounts. My team and I spent a good 40% of our time developing advertising campaigns for Doritos, Fritos, Lays, and all sorts of weird international products.
It was a lot of fun. And I got to taste pickle flavored potato chips that were only sold in Canada which we insisted we needed for inspiration.
Fortunately, one of the other accounts I worked on was Pepsi.
